No snow in Myrtle Beach (yet)

We survived the GOP debate and the primary vote here in S.C. So many TV adds from the "Super Pacs". After a while, you don't know who to believe. This is what they called "Mount Myrtle", a sand sculpture of the six. Our choice for the next pres. is Bun. He is popping up every where.

Some days we have to bundle up here just to go to the beach. Swimming in the ocean is out of the question right now.

This is Daisy getting her daily exercise walk. I think she had been putting weight on the last few months. Must be all those long days of just sitting on the couch. I found some nice material to recover the cushions for the wicker set on the back deck. Daisy approves of the design.



We had visitors yesterday, Tom and Elizabeth Joy, from our home marina.  They're on their way South, so they stopped in to see where we have been hiding out. We spent the day at "Broadway on the Beach" and had a great lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville rest.

Another day, another project

We aquired a Palmetto tree for the boat. Hopefully it will make the trip back north healthy. Bonus, it provides a little shade for the sea gull.

 Our day at the beach was attended by more than us. Gulls cooling off in the outgoing tide.

The warm sun brings out the geckos at the marina. It's ok, as long as they stay on the land and don't decide to come onboard.
